Honestly I don't believe it's possible to be in love with two people at once. Everyone has their own definition and perspective of love but their is only one true definition hence the quote "there is but one love but a thousand imitations". I feel that if you really and truly love someone you only have eyes for them and you want to be with them exclusively, having this feeling for more than one person can just be defined as wanting to have your cake and eat it too. The problem with most people is that they think any alien feeling they have can be defined as love while overlooking lust and infatuation or they are in love with the idea of being in love. If some would just sit and re-evaluate the true meaning of love then we probably wouldn't have situations like these. It's more to it than what's on the surface but people don't take the time to delve underneath and really understand what it truly means to love and be in love.

In my opinion a person can not be in love with two people at the same time. One comes in the form of love, which is always mistaken for love and later identified as lust. A person can be in love with the qualities that a person posses but that doesn't mean your in love with that person.
If you have two people your in love with and you pick one over the other that shows you were never really in love with that person. People need to look at the true meaning of love, and not just base it off of emotions. All in all I feel like one person your in love with and the other you lust. Now all you have to do is found out which one is the lust.

I say yes because if you had an old girl/boy friend and your in love with her/him and ya'll happen to brake up and you have a new boy/girl friend and ya'll our in love and that old one come back then your in love with two. Tim

ReplyDeleteU have 2 really look into what ur definition of love is and really think into each situation because most of the time that happens people end up finding out they were just lusting for one of the two that thought they loved. So my advice is 2 really think about what love is to you, and decide where you can find that with which ever one you are with.

ReplyDeleteYes, I think it is possible. One person may have qualities that you love and the other person may not have as many qualities that you love. Until you experience both you really dont know. One can be a great father but the other can take care of home.

When you're in love you are willing 2 extend yourself beyond expectations, and beyond what love is. You make yourself available for all aspects. How can you provide that 2 two people at once.

ReplyDeleteNo, you cant be in love with 2 people at the same time. Someone will have the short end of the stick because all your time and energy is provided to that one person. You would not be able to extend yourself fully to different individuals.
Well that's kind of the suitation I'm in now I love both of them and really don't know what to do like one wine and dine me just the right way the other is right behind him but like doesn't have as much to give as the other on so I'm wondering is it a money thing with me b cuz it's like I tend to try and make the one with more money happier but I love the one with less money more I'm lost kind of becuz sometimes I hurt the one with less money becuz I'm acustom to livin a lifestyle and i let greed take over my love for the next one but in real life I do love them both and don't want to lose neither one
ReplyDeleteSo do u really love them or what they can do for you...if one of them was to get into an accident and became immobile or a vegetable could u really say you'd be there 24/7 without thinking it's a burden, how long would u stay before u finally moved on...u might love them but you might need to re-evaluate if your actually IN love with either
